CTE expert Chris Nowinski has been at the forefront of criticizing the Dolphins over the Tua Tagovailoa situation.
Before Thursday night’s Dolphins-Bengals game, Nowinski ripped the Dolphins for allowing Tua to play after the QB was seen stumbling on the field four days earlier.
If Tua takes the field tonight, it's a massive step back for #concussion care in the NFL.
If he has a 2nd concussion that destroys his season or career, everyone involved will be sued & should lose their jobs, coaches included. We all saw it, even they must know this isn't right https://t.co/vxpaOif5rh

In addition to stumbling when he stood up and falling, he never reached for his back or leg. Instead, he reached for his head and then shook his head side to side to "clear the cobwebs". The NFL and the Dolphins take us for fools.

After Tua suffered a head injury during the Bengals-Dolphins game on Thursday, Nowinski called on the Miami Dolphins medical staff to be fired.
This is a disaster. Pray for Tua. Fire the medical staffs and coaches. I predicted this and I hate that I am right. Two concussions in 5 days can kill someone. This can end careers. How are we so stupid in 2022. pic.twitter.com/D8S8eEbgda

On Friday, Nowinski spoke with TMZ where he advised Tua to sit out the season and not play for the Dolphins ever again.
Talked to @ChrisNowinski1, top traumatic brain injury expert, about Tua Tagovailoa. No equivocation. Chris says Tua shouldn't play another snap this season, & NEVER play again for Dolphins.

It doesn’t appear like Tua will listen to Nowinski’s advice and has thanked the Dolphins for taking care of him.
Tua Tagovailoa feeling "much better" Friday, says in statement that he is "grateful for the support and care I've received from the Dolphins, my friends and family, and all the people who have reached out."https://t.co/LIBnWr2Kfi pic.twitter.com/xUXIxZNmn2
