Two refs have found themselves in trouble with the NFL for their actions on Sunday.
Afther the Bucs-Panthers came, two refs were filmed asking Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans for an autograph.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reveals that the refs violated league policy by asking Evans for an autograph and are now being investigated.
The NFL is reviewing the incident involving side judge Jeff Lamberth and line judge Tripp Sutter, I’m told.
The NFL-NFLRA CBA specifically says game officials “shall not… ask players, coaches or any other team personnel for autographs or memorabilia.” pic.twitter.com/2suFfK3MWL

Here’s how fans reacted to the NFL investigating the two refs.
Bad look, even if for his kid/grandkid.
There will be lawyers. https://t.co/9jfkLU8IYO— Andrew Brandt (@AndrewBrandt) October 24, 2022
Need I say more about these striped clowns?? Literally asking for autographs and I’m not supposed to believe these Foot Locker rejects don’t influence games? The NFL has a VERY SERIOUS problem. https://t.co/RZCEL8YFzd

The audacity of referees.
“Sorry I missed that call on that last drive. But could you sign this for my son? He’s a huge fan…” https://t.co/E0r1xppPqc

These guys are human. I get it. But this a REALLY bad look. You see some of the horrific calls being made with no explicable reason – then you see this. Whether fandom interferes with a ref's call or not, stuff like this gives major credibility that it certainly does. https://t.co/hgA5Igu5RZ
