Aaron Rodgers has apparently been dealing with an injury in his throwing hand this season.
During the last several games, it was apparent that something was wrong with Rodgers’ hand.

Last week it was initially reported that Rodgers had been playing with a broken thumb.
Since this is a big talking point today let's break some news. I asked Rodgers during my Make-A-Wish how his finger is and he replied that his thumb is actually broken. His thumb was still really bruised and swollen last Saturday.

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers appeared to confirm that his thumb is indeed broken and bothering him but he won’t use the injury as an excuse for the his poor play.
Aaron Rodgers a few minutes ago on @PatMcAfeeShow said “he’s broken other fingers before,” in reference to his thumb injury. This essentially confirms @bigpackers4x’s initial report from Friday that the thumb is, in fact, broken.

Here’s how fans reacted to Rodgers’ thumb injury news.
Aaron I think you should rely on it as excuse cause the only other explanation for your play this year is that you’re just washed so. https://t.co/KJxOmfbhW9

I’ve speculated this for a while.
TBH, he’s been quite effective throwing with a broken thumb. #GoPackGo https://t.co/39vcRftPjv
