WNBA Star Kelsey Plum is once again arguing for more pay for WNBA players.
During an appearance on “The Residency Podcast,” the Las Vegas Aces guard spoke out on the misconceptions that WNBA players want to get equal to NBA players but instead want a higher percentage of revenue similar to what NBA players get from the NBA.

“We are not asking to get paid what the men get paid. We’re asking to be paid the same percentage of revenue shared. … That’s a huge misconception. I don’t think I should get paid the same as LeBron. But the percentage of revenue – like for example: they sell my jersey in Mandalay Bay, I don’t get a dime.”
Fans didn’t agree with Plum’s argument.
Unfortunately that’s just not how it works when you play in a league that has lost money every year since it’s inception. https://t.co/VyQ3BB6QEP

The WNBA has never turned a profit in the history of their league. They’ve been in the red from the very beginning, so making this happen would be hard. https://t.co/aQHuh33lJs
