Bengals’ Joseph Ossai was involved in the biggest play during the AFC championship game.
Late in the fourth quarter, Ossai was called for a penalty after he shoved Patrick Mahomes while Mahomes was already out of bounds.

The penalty put the Chiefs in field goal range which led to a Harrison Butker game-winning field goal.

After the game, Ossai was seen crying on the bench.
my heart is heavy for Joseph Ossai. he’s 22 years old & put his whole being into winning this game but arrived at the biggest moment of his life one second too slow. if you raged, gloated or said “how could he” think if this was your son, brother or friend.pic.twitter.com/W6YFGUrVNO

During his postgame interview, a teary-eyed Ossai struggled to speak to the media because he was so emotional.
His teammate BJ Hill stepped up to support him.
