33-year-old Cam Newton is apparently attempting an NFL comeback and is trying to convince people that he can still play.
On Monday, Newton posted a video announcing that he was going to throw at Auburn’s pro day. In the video, Newton called out NFL teams for signing QBs that he believes are worse than him.
“Tell me how these randoms keep getting jobs, don’t worry about it, Imma show you, I can’t wait to show you…I love it ”

Before Auburn’s Pro Day, Shannon Sharpe ripped into Newton for clowning other QBs in the league.
“Cam, you haven’t been good in a very long time. It’s 2023, this isn’t 2015 anymore. I hate to break it to you, but you’re now one of those ‘randoms.’”

“Point taken, @ShannonSharpe and I am not denying some facts you brought up, Unc!!” he wrote in his signature cryptic text. “Very valid. But if you give me a full offseason to learn what I am supposed to do with a stable franchise, I promise you, I will prove that I’m no random sir.”
