The San Francisco 49ers lost their starting QB Trey Lance on Sunday but one report claims some players and coaches think the team is better off under Jimmy Garoppolo.
On Sunday, Lance suffered a season-ending injury in the first quarter of the game.

Garoppolo replaced Lance and led the team to a win by going 13 of 21 for 154 yds., with one passing TD and one rushing TD for a passer rating of 100.1.
After the game. San Francisco Chronicle reporter Michael Silver claims several players and coaches are privately saying the team is better under Jimmy G than Lance.
“This is the part no one wants to say publicly, but something several players and coaches enunciated privately in the wake of Sunday’s game—the 49ers are a better team right now with Garoppolo at quarterback than they were with Lance,”
Silver claims two sources told him “I can’t say it, but you can.”
