Former NFL RB Adrian Peterson reportedly didn’t get paid very much for his boxing debut.
Over the weekend, Peterson faced former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell at the Social Gloves 2 event at the Banc Of California Stadium in Los Angeles.
Peterson, unfortunately, went viral when he was viciously knocked out by Bell in the fourth round.

MMAFighting.com got their hands on the disclosed salaries for the event, and Peterson was paid only $15k for his loss while Bell was paid $250k, according to the California State Athletic Commission.

The salaries for the event were released on Monday by the California State Athletic Commission in a message sent to MMA Fighting.
Bell, who spent his playing career with numerous teams including the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets, earned an event high $250,000 for his knockout against fellow NFL veteran Adrian Peterson.
Peterson took home $15,000 in a losing effort
The CSAC disclosed salaries don’t include PPV percentages, but it’s not likely that the Social Gloves event sold well enough to give Peterson a bump in pay.
Hopefully, Peterson made money on sponsorship deals because getting paid $15K to get viciously knocked out is embarrassing.
