Al Michaels always keeps it real.
On Thursday afternoon, ESPN reported that Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder was threatening to expose other NFL owners if they tried to force him to sell the team.
From me, @DVNJR and @tishaESPN, via 30+ sources
*Snyder has said his dirt on Goodell/owners from PIs could “blow up” NFL. “They can’t f— with me.”
*He’s “lost Jerry” Jones
*Goodell “wants Snyder gone,” per exec

During the Commanders’ Thursday Night Football game, Amazon broadcaster Al Michaels straight up suggested that Snyder should sell the team.
"Just my feeling, I think what the league would love, is for [Dan] Snyder to sell the team. … He's just become a major problem around the league, obviously."

Some NFL insiders believe Michaels was speaking for the NFL when he made the Snyder comments on-air.
Forgot to mention Al Michaels saying what he did about Snyder, that he should sell the team, is a HUGE DEAL. Al is essentially a league PR guy. When he speaks he’s speaking for the league.

Al Michaels is wired in at the top of NFL food chain. For him to say “the league would like for Dan Snyder to sell” is delivering a message from somebody 🤔

Al Michaels saying on NFL broadcast that the league wants Snyder to sell might as well be a Roger Goodell press release
