Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy is currently public enemy #1 on sports Twitter today.
On Tuesday afternoon, a video showing a batter comforting a pitcher who had accidentally drilled him in the head went extremely viral on social media.
"Hey, you're doing just great"

Portnoy didn’t like the display of affection between the two players during the little league world series.
“This isn’t good sportsman ship. It’s dumb. You got this kid on the ropes and he’s rattled. Trip to Williamsport on the line. You can play pattycakes after. As far as the pitcher goes that’s your plate.”

Portnoy immediately started trending because people bashed his take.
The LLWS pitcher who hits a batter in the head is so shaken, the batter comes over to reassure him.
This putz @stoolpresidente who gave us a home for idiocy called @barstoolsports must trash this. The pain in his childhood and life must be so great, I almost feel sorry for him. pic.twitter.com/quzNpPcp77

Right? Show that 10-12 yr old who's concerned that he could have seriously hurt you that there are more important things to be worried about. Like winning a baseball game that no one but your closest friends and family will remember you played in 20 years from now. https://t.co/hoSIOF5JUa
