Browns Player Says It’s ‘Cleveland Vs The World’ Because Of Deshaun Watson Situation

Deshaun Watson got loudly booed in his first game back in Jacksonville and one Browns players say the team is expecting more of the same on the road this season.

On Friday, Watson was loudly booed every time he stepped onto the field.

Jags fans would later be heard yelling about obscene chants at the Browns QB.

Browns’ Joel Bitonio was asked about the booing during the team’s preseason game and he says it’s “Cleveland vs the World” due to the Deshaun Watson situation.

“Browns left guard Joel Bitonio wasn’t surprised that Jaguars fans booed Deshaun Watson when he took the field Friday night, and expects more of the same if and when he plays this season.

“It seems like more than ever, [it’s] Cleveland against the world, so we’ll be ready for it,’’ Bitonio said during his podium interview Saturday.

Fans blasted Bitonio’s “Cleveland vs the world” comment.
