Cowboys’ Jerry Jones ‘Wouldn’t Mind’ A QB Controversy Between Cooper Rush And Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said would welcome a quarterback controversy between Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush.

While speaking to the media on Thursday, Jones said he would love if there a QB competition between Prascott and Rush because that would mean Rush would have won these next few games.

“That means we’d won,” Jones said. “If he comes in and plays as well as Prescott played … I’d walk to New York to get that.”

Prescott was initially set to miss 6-8 weeks with a thumb injury but is already back in practice and the next hopes to have him back in the next few weeks.

Rush is preparing to make his second start on Monday against the New York Giants after leading the Cowboys to a win in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Here’s how Cowboys fans reacted to Jones’ comments.
