Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said would welcome a quarterback controversy between Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush.
While speaking to the media on Thursday, Jones said he would love if there a QB competition between Prascott and Rush because that would mean Rush would have won these next few games.
“That means we’d won,” Jones said. “If he comes in and plays as well as Prescott played … I’d walk to New York to get that.”

Prescott was initially set to miss 6-8 weeks with a thumb injury but is already back in practice and the next hopes to have him back in the next few weeks.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is back on practice field, gripping and throwing a training ball. Not throwing footballs yet or taking snaps, 10 days removed from surgery on right thumb fracture. But this is part of him building toward quick return. As early as Week 4 or 5, team says. pic.twitter.com/UrEycFaTRa

We asked Zeke about this and others bringing up this narratives. “Jerry wants you clicking and listening to all of it. Marketing” 🤣 adds media says outrageous things for the clicks. No controversy in the locker room. 4 is the guy. https://t.co/ygOcpCKhrj
