Curt Schilling does not appear to be a fan of Pete Rose.
Over the weekend, Rose found himself in hot water with how he responded to a reporter who brought up his statutory rape allegations during a media availability after the 1980 Phillies World Series team was honored.
Rose called the reporter “babe” while shooting down her question about the allegations.
I asked Pete Rose what he would say to people who say his presence here sends a negative message to women. His response: “No, I’m not here to talk about that. Sorry about that. It was 55 years ago babe.”

Schilling, who has also found himself in controversy over the years, bashed Rose for his response to the reporter.
“I say this as someone who knows him, who he treated kindly, but the things he says and his lack of self-awareness are unreal,” Schilling tweeted. “HOF talent, absolutely, but just a bad bad guy with literally zero morals or scruples and not an ounce of couth.”
