Dak Prescott is fired up and ready to prove the doubters wrong.
With all the naysayers already counting the Cowboys out due to a depleted wide receivers corps, a hyped-up Prescott says he’s using all the doubt as fuel and has a message for those who are doubting this year’s team.
“Where we are right now, it’s all excitement. It is,” Prescott said, per ESPN’s Todd Archer. “It’s truly a privilege to be the quarterback of this team, to be a leader of these guys, offense, defense, this coaching staff that we have. And yeah, especially with everything being said about us — you know what I mean? — the lack of what we have, keep writing, keep talking. We’re ready to go play.”

It is worth noting that the Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl or appeared in an NFC Championship Game since 1995. The team also has not made it into the playoffs in back-to-back years. The Cowboys currently have the 10th best odds to win the Super Bowl this season at +2200.
We’ll see if Dak and the Cowboys can prove the doubters and the oddsmakers wrong this year.
