Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton will not be punished for his actions last week.
After Tennessee beat Alabama, Burton was caught on video appearing to slap a female Vols fan in the head.

Saban promised to look into the incident earlier this week via a statement.

Apparently, Burton was not suspended but has to see anger management counselors.

ESPN’s Chris Fowler says Alabama has Jermaine Burton working with anger-management counselors and Nick Saban hopes Burton will learn to control his emotions better. Fowler cited Burton’s retaliation penalty against Texas A&M in addition to the post-Tennessee incident.

Burton went on to start in team’s game on Saturday and fans were furious with Saban.
Saban was blasted by fans for allowing Burton to not only play but start the game.

At best, he shoved a female fan last week. At worst he punched her.
I dont care if she was on the field or not.

Nick Saban condones Violence against women. Burton should not have touched that girl under no circumstance. That just shows that winning is more important to Saban than doing the right thing. One of our players was suspended for hitting a man that basically broke into his house.
