Packers GM Brian Gutekunst is apparently fed up with dealing with Aaron Rodgers.
Two weeks ago, Rodgers publicly put the blame on the Packers for him wanting to play for the Jets.
According to Rodgers, the team had talked to other teams about a trade while he was on his darkness retreat.

While speaking to the media at the owners meetings, Gutekunst fired back at Rodgers.
Brian Gutekunst on Aaron Rodgers: "Certainly whenever a player may have issues, you prefer that they talk to you directly and not do it in the media, but that's not necessarily the way he goes about it and that's OK."

Gutekunst also said that they haven’t been able to contact Rodgers during the offseason and that’s when they decided to seek a trade with another team.
Brian Gutekunst said he tried to contact Aaron Rodgers “many times” this offseason to discuss how he fit in the Packers’ future.
“Our inability to reach him or for him to respond in any way — I think at that point … I had to do my job.”

Gutekunst hasn’t given a timetable on when the team would trade Rodgers to the Jets but insisted that they wanted “fair value.”
Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said at the NFL annual meeting Monday he wants “fair value” in a potential trade sending four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets but added that's not necessarily a first-round pick.https://t.co/XWpwrMGbI2
