Alabama’s Nick Saban receives new 8-year contract worth nearly $94 million & remains highest paid college football coach. He will make $10.7 million this season w/annual increases to $12.7 million in 2029 when Saban will be 78
Fans had interesting reactions to Saban’s huge contract extension.
Being able to pay your head coach about 11 million a year seems to me like a big ass disparity between Alabama and most college football programs https://t.co/GoNlYmM1Vq

8 more years of Saban means 6 more titles at least. https://t.co/wmzYaBA8lY

if it’s about the money, Nick should just interview for NFL coaching jobs.
Nick Saban ain’t worth $11.7 million dollars per year for coaching football.
coaches shouldn’t have a higher salary than the dean.
every student-athlete should get NIL deals for playing college sports. https://t.co/otxMRX8ibs
