George Kittle is not a big fan of the NFL’s new Thursday Night Football change.
Last week, NFL approved allowing teams to play two games on short weeks during the owners meetings.

NFL owners discussed flexible scheduling for Thursday Night Football. They did not vote on the proposal but instead changed the rules to allow teams to play on two short weeks during the season.
That will allow a better inventory of teams for late-season games.
During a recent podcast appearance on the Theo Von podcast, Kittle ripped into the NFL over potentially adding a second Thursday Night Football game for some teams.
“I’m in multiple car accidents every Sunday … I’ve had games where I hyper-extended my knee, that’s gonna affect your season. Or you burst a bursa sac in your knee.
That’s going to be there for several weeks. And if you get lucky, you don’t have to deal with that stuff. It’s a little bit better, but you’re still getting into these car accidents. Really, now how I see it is, if I’m not doing football, I’m doing recovery.”
Kittle isn’t the only one who doesn’t like the change.
Here’s Patrick Mahomes’ reaction to the news.
