High Ranking Sixers Members Want To Reach Out To Nets For A Kevin Durant Trade According To Report

Kevin Durant wants to play alongside James Harden again but can the Sixers actually make a move for him.

On Wednesday, ESPN’s Frank Isola made the stunning revelation that Durant wanted to play with Harden again, despite their previous beef during their time in Brooklyn.

“It’s hard to follow at times but yes Kevin Durant would like to play with James Harden, who was in London with Durant around the time Durant met with Nets ownership. (Maybe Harden, an expert at forcing trades, is serving as an advisor
.)”

SNY’s Ian Begley is reporting that high ranking members of the Sixers want to reach out to the Nets about a trade with Kevin Durant.

Something worth noting: As of earlier this week, there were high-ranking members of the Sixers who’ve felt strongly about engaging with Brooklyn on a Durant trade.

It is unknown if Brooklyn and Philadelphia have made any recent progress on a trade.

According to NBCS Philly reporter John Clark Durant does want to play with Harden but he doesn’t think the Sixers have enough assets to get the Nets interested.

“I’m told Kevin Durant is still close with James Harden & would like to play with him & Joel Embiid, as well as a few other teams, confirming @IanBegley

But I’m told the Sixers may not have enough for what Brooklyn is looking for in a trade

This will be intriguing to watch”
