Jake Paul is going to be fighting Anderson Silva after all.
On Tuesday afternoon, Paul announced that he would be facing the 47-year-old former UFC champion in a boxing match to be held in Phoenix Arizona on October 29th.
Paul posted a promo video on his social media pages saying that he respects Silva but that he plans to knock out the UFC legend in less than 5 rounds.

“Me versus Anderson Silva October 29th, Phoenix, Arizona, it’s going to be an honor to be in there with the legendary Anderson Silva, although I’m going to knock him out in under five rounds.”
Paul went on to mock UFC President Dana White and other media members in a separate video for saying he would never fight Silva.

Earlier this month Dana White said he’d respect Paul for fighting Anderson Silva.
“He’s got a real fight on his hands, regardless of how old Anderson is, that’s a real fight,” said White during a recent press conference.
Silva vs Paul will air on Showtime PPV and with a price to be announced later.
