Josh Quinlan delivered a highlight reel KO vs. Jason Witt, but his restraint to not punch a knocked-out Witt is probably more than the KO itself.
During Saturday’s UFC San Diego event, Quinlan landed a perfectly placed left hook that put Witt to sleep as soon as it landed. Quinlan went in to punch Witt while he was on the ground but stopped when he noticed that his opponent was already knocked out.

Quinlan spoke about keeping his composure and not punching Witt while he was knocked out.
"We have to go until we're told to stop, but I'm glad I was able to keep my composure…I'm not looking to hurt people in there, but we're trying to bring out the best martial arts in each other."

MMA fans praised Quinlan for showing restraint and not getting in a second punch on Witt.
Honestly, the restraint demonstrated by Josh Quinlan in the heat of a blazing UFC finish is arguably more impressive than the finish itself.
