Kevin Durant has made his demands very clear.
According to a report from The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Durant told the team that they would have to fire the team’s coach Steve Nash and GM Sean Marks if they wanted to keep him.
“In a meeting with Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash, sources say.”
“Sources: Kevin Durant informed Joe Tsai that he does not have faith in the Nets‘ direction. The meeting was described as transparent and professional, with a clear message: Keep me — or the GM and coach. ”

This is just amazing. What a gift the #NextYearNets have been the past few seasons. Can’t wait for @FTFonFS1 in the AM https://t.co/rkZaVxNc57

What is interesting about this is Kevin Durant himself never mentioned publicly anything about dissatisfaction with his coach or general manager. So Nets have moved into the realm of an owner addressing reports. These Nets are rare birds, indeed. https://t.co/7qXiqg4uRG
