Police in Las Vegas said Monday they’re investigating allegations that a fan in the stands struck Kyler Murray amid celebrations of Arizona’s win in OT.

“I was just told about it,’’ Kingsbury said. “But I think that guy’s a lowlife, whoever did it, and I hope they arrest him, he gets fired and can never go to another game.’’
It is worth noting that some fans believe the fan didn’t have any malicious intent and may have been trying to give Murray a pat on the shoulder.
When I heard struck I thought it was a jab or something. Guy is wearing his jersey, just a very uncoordinated old guy trying to pat him hard on the shoulder pads but missed horribly. Great use of resources by Las Vegas https://t.co/WYoWmBxD2c

Obviously the fan was trying to give him a high five but greatly underestimated Kyler Murray's height. He missed the hand and it hit him in the face https://t.co/1GmxE4aKIU

I'm the unpopular opinion. If you watch it in its entirety he was just getting his hand wherever he thought he could. He was even cheering and excited. 🤷🏼♀️ https://t.co/omUD65LWWo

I watched this a few times back. I looked more like a tap or grab to the shoulder that he turned into. He run into the fans, started to celebrate with that, allowed them to pat him on the arms. This just caught him in not even a slap really. https://t.co/wTGz97lzEW
