49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan gave his honest reaction to what went down on Sunday Night.
During the Niners’ 11-10 loss to the Broncos, Jimmy Garoppolo went 18/29 for 211 yards, one TD, one interception, lost fumble, and stepped out of the endzone for a safety.

While Shanahan felt Jimmy played well in the first half, he didn’t put all the blame on the QB for the team’s offensive woes in the second half of the game.
“I thought he played real well in the first half,” Shanahan said. “I thought he made some plays, hit the ones that were there and made some that weren’t there.
“In the second half, I don’t think anyone on offense did good, including myself. We didn’t really get into a rhythm the whole time. Our defense did a hell of a job keeping us in there, but we weren’t able to get it going.
Shanahan also took the blame for Jimmy’s safety in the endzone.
“That was a tough situation I put him in — that unblocked guy coming,” Shanahan said. “I wish we would have had time for the big play and could have ditched it. But that was a tough situation I put him in.”
