Lamar Jackson not only wants to get paid as much as Deshaun Watson/Kyler Murray but he apparently wants his contract to be fully guaranteed as well.
Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer revealed that the team had offered Jackson a huge deal that would pay him more than Murray but the team doesn’t seem interested in giving him a fully guaranteed contract.
“It’s a really big uphill battle here,” Jay Glazer reported ahead of Sunday’s Cardinals-Ravens preseason game. “The reason why is because Lamar Jackson … is representing himself. … (The) Deshaun Watson deal kind of throws things out of whack, because I’m sure (Jackson) wants a fully guaranteed contract, (and) I don’t see (the Ravens) wanting to do that.”
