Lamar Jackson appears to be taking not-so-subtle shots at the Ravens during heated contract negotiations with the team.
Last week, Jackson revealed that he was sitting out the team’s game against the Bengals with a knee injury.
“Thank you everyone for your support and concerns regarding my injuries. I want to give you all an update as I am in the recovery process. I’ve suffered a PCL grade 2 sprain on the borderline of a strain 3. There is still inflammation surrounding my knee and my knee
remains unstable. I’m still in good spirits, as I continue with treatments on the road to recovery. I wish I could be out there with my guys more than anything but I can’t give a 100% of myself to my guys and fans I’m still hopeful we still have a chance”
On Sunday, the Bengals beat the Ravens, who were without Jackson, and he appeared to take a shot at his team in an Instagram post.
“When you have something good, you don’t play with it. You don’t take chances losing it. You don’t neglect it. When you have something good, you pour into it. You appreciate it. Because when you take care of something good, that good thing takes care of you too.”

Jackson has been trying to become the highest-paid QB in the league but has yet to come to contract agreement with the Ravens and it seems like negotiations will drag on into next year.
Here’s how fans reacted to Jackson’s post.

Damn. Part of me thinks Lamar is being childish and actually did quit on his team, but the other part of me realizes how bad these franchises treat players sometimes.
All that being said… Lamar to the Jets is happening. Lamar vs Josh Allen 2x per year 😮💨 https://t.co/jbFTo4UcUq
