Don’t expect a reunion between LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
During the 2021-2022 season, fans speculated whether LeBron would return to Cleveland now that the Cavs are on the rise and the Lakers are on the decline.
According to NBA insider Joe Vardon, the Cavs have no interest in bringing back James in the near future.

“OK, I have tied myself up in knots enough over this,” Joe Vardon of The Athletic wrote. “The Cavs are not proceeding with the intention of getting LeBron for a third time.”
LeBron James has one year left on his current deal with the Lakers, and his future beyond that seems relatively unclear.
