It appears Nate Diaz might be thinking about a UFC comeback after his upcoming boxing match.
On Wednesday, Diaz announced that he would be facing off against Jake Paul in a boxing match in August.
During the announcement, Diaz revealed that he planned to beat Paul and go back to the UFC where he left after tense negotiations with the company.
“Besides Canelo he’s the biggest thang in boxing. I’m here to conquer that. I’m the King of combatsports
and then I’m headed back to get my UFC belts,” said Diaz. “I f***ed up Conor for acting out and now
here I am again, like a Super Hero of the Real Fight game, the King of the Real Fight game.”
After Diaz left the UFC, White left the door open for Diaz’s return.
“No matter what Nate does from here on out, this is his house,” White said at his post-fight press conference.”
“He and I had this discussion months ago at the offices. Whatever he moves on to do, I wish him nothing but the best. If he’s starting his own organization or getting into promoting or doing something else, I wish him nothing but the best of luck.
“It’s been awesome having him here.”E
