We have a new camera angle in the Davante Adams-cameraman situation.
After Monday night’s game against the Chiefs, Adams was seen shoving a cameraman to the ground.
Police are investigating the matter after the cameraman reported Adams for assault.
From the Kansas City Police Department on the police report filed by a photographer against #Raiders WR Davante Adams, alleging assault: “The injuries are preliminarily thought to be non-life threatening.” pic.twitter.com/kMsCkj2tRs

Adams apologized but said the cameraman “jumped in front of him” out of nowhere.
“He jumped in front of me. I kind of pushed him. He ended up on the ground. I want to apologize to him for that. That was just frustration.”

A new camera angle of the incident appears to back up Adams’ claim that the cameraman jumped in front of him just as he was making is way towards the locker room.

Check this angle out on #Raiders Davante Adams. This might tell another story. #RaiderNation #NFL— NFL Rumors (@nflrums) October 11, 2022
Fans debated whether or not the new camera angle helped Adams’ case with the cameraman.
This angle here makes it appear that Adams had a split second to react after seeing someone jump in front of him. https://t.co/CRMXj094LJ

Seems like an instinctual reaction from this angle. https://t.co/44wBOn8M3P

This angle’s better for @tae15adams, IMO. Photog walked right in front of Davante, so he put his hands up and pushed. Bang-bang. Not great, but the other clip makes it look like Adams shoved the guy for no reason. pic.twitter.com/nTWdBfdOkg

Still completely in the wrong but this makes alot more sense then the first angle we saw https://t.co/uBUqWznJOk

from this angle, i don’t think devante even saw him. the guy did dart in front of his path while he’s (presumably) looking down at the ground. hard to tell for sure, but his head is tilted down at the moment of contact. https://t.co/qDzQMUfNbS
