It’s going to take some time for Amazon Prime to get their stream just right for Thursday Night Football games.
Before Thursday Night’s game, an Amazon Prime video executive told Bloomberg they were confident that they could handle the millions of people planning to stream the Chiefs-Chargers games.
“I don’t think there’s any company more prepared than we are to handle that type of scale and that type of challenge,” said Jay Marine, an Amazon veteran and former technical adviser to Bezos who now oversees Amazon’s sports business. “It’s what we’re good at.”
On social media, plenty of fans complained about receiving a glitchy, buffering stream at home.

Is anyone else’s @PrimeVideo stream a little glitchy for #TNFonPrime or is it just me?

The quality of the stream on @PrimeVideo is awful. Why is it going from clear to blurry non-stop? It’s not my internet, I’m hardwired in… #thursdaynightfootball
