NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt is not happy with how the whole Deshaun Watson situation concluded.
On Thursday, both Watson and owner Jimmy Haslam held separate press conferences to address Watson’s suspension settlement.
During his press conference, Watson maintained his innocence despite settling with the NFL.
Deshaun Watson says just because he settled the cases and agreed to this suspension doesn't mean he's guilty of anything or did anything wrong.

Haslam went on to defend his QB during his presser.
#Browns owner Jimmy Haslam: "I think in this country, people deserve second chances. Is he never supposed to play again? Is he no longer supposed to be part of society? That's what we're going to do. We gave Kareem Hunt a second chance and that worked out pretty well."

The back and forth, this flailing contradictions are the actions of a liar. And then Jimmy Haslam comes on in the daddy role and it’s second chances and second chances. Second chances are for someone who did something wrong, did something bad.
You guys just said he didn’t do anything wrong. What do you mean second chances? And then he chases it with he’s a star quarterback and needlessly pulls in Kareem Hunt and that it doesn’t mean we don’t have empathy for women. Just woefully tone deaf.
Just stop talking. Stop talking. Imagine if you were at home and you are a woman and you’ve gone through something like this, or your daughter has, or your mother has, and there’s somebody out there saying, well, he’s a star quarterback so we gotta give him a break. It doesn’t mean we don’t have empathy for women. Bleep your empathy.
You’re an enabler. I’m supposed to be pleased about this closure? I still feel sick about it.
