Former NFL great Michael Irvin has officially lost his mind.
On Tuesday night, the NFL GameDay crew named who they thought would win the NFL MVP this season, and Irvin’s was by far the most shocking.
Most NFL Network panelists picked either Aaron Rodgers or Bills QB Josh Allen to be MVP.
Michael Irvin, however picked Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins to be the league MVP next season.

Cousins was recently named 99th in the NFL’s top 100. Last season Cousins held a 103.1 passer rating which ranked fourth last season, and his 98.6 career passer rating ranks sixth among active QBs. Cousins was also a Pro-Bowl selection in 2021 but putting him ahead of Allen and Rodgers is still pretty absurd.
Fans roasted Irvin over his absurd pick.
Whatever Irvin is smoking, I want some. The other selections actually make sense and have chance of happening https://t.co/1xJdlWRN3l

Michael Irvin should have been given a breathalyzer and/or drug test before giving this joke of a prediction. Good grief. https://t.co/iGetRvvgKr

Cowboys fans also didn’t seem pleased with the fact that Irvin rated Cousins over Dak Prescott.
