Ryan Garcia wants to fight Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis but there appears to be a snag in the negotiations.
After his win against Javier Fortuna last month, Garcia called out Tank while still in the ring.
“I’m not going back to 135 for nothing, but I want Tank next,”
“I’m never afraid, I have a spirit of competition. You’re going to see that when I fight Tank.”
Garcia’s promoter Oscar De La Hoya spoke to FightHub TV and says he’s trying to make the fight happen but the Gervonta Davis’ people have not responded to him.
“Look, we’re talking. We’re talking, so, yeah, it’s a great start. To get to talk to the other side is a great start. We want the fight. That’s the bottom line.”
“Hey, we’re trying to get a hold of Tank’s side. We don’t know who to talk to. Nobody picks up their phone, nobody calls back,”
