Pat Riley believes Dwyane Wade is the greatest Heat player ever.
On August 12th, Wade will be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.
Throughout the years, many have debated who the greatest Heat player of all-time between Wade and LeBron James.
During his 13 seasons with the team, Wade won three championships in Miami.
James won two championships in four seasons with the Heats alongside Wade but was considered the best player in the NBA at the time, winning two MVPS.
Riley, who many consider the architect of the Miami Heat, told the media ahead of Wade’s Hall of Fame induction that he believes Wade is the best player to put on the Heat uniform.
“You can argue whether or not LeBron or Dwyane was better as a Heat player, but Dwyane is the greatest player ever who put on a uniform with us, “LeBron was here for four years and gave us a tremendous lift and helped Dwyane achieve what he wanted to achieve.”
“But Dwyane is the greatest player that ever played for the Heat. And that’s not an insult to LeBron. That’s because of his longevity and the short term LeBron was here.”
