Peyton Manning thinks Jimmy Garoppolo got a bit lucky on the team’s biggest play against the Rams.
On Monday night, Jimmy G connected with Deebo on a 57-yard touchdown that saw Deebo break several tackles to make the play work.

During the Manningcast of the game, Peyton Manning broke down the play and felt Jimmy G got lucky after throwing the ball a bit high toward s his receiver.
“If Jimmy threw it high on purpose, that’s an incredible throw, Jimmy,” “I’m saying he got a little bit lucky there putting the ball where only Deebo could catch it.”

Peyton did love everything that happened after Deebo’s catch.
“The run after the catch, the missed tackle there by [Rams cornerback Jalen] Ramsey, you don’t see that very often,” Manning said. “I love the block by [49ers receiver Brandon] Aiyuk down the field.”
