Someone In Players Union Is Reportedly Leaking Details About Lamar Jackson’s Negotiations With Ravens And He’s Not Going To Be Happy About It

Someone in the NFLPA is reportedly leaking details about Lamar Jackson’s contract talks with the Ravens.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen released an extremely detailed report regarding Jackson’s contract negotiations with the Ravens.

In one of Mortensen’s tweets, he mentioned that “union sources” had to told him about certain aspects of Jackson’s negotiations.

Jackson does not have an agent and has been using the players union to help guide him through a deal. According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, Jackson will not be happy to hear that someone in the union is leaking details about his negotiations with the Ravens.

The report has the union’s fingerprints all over it, in part because Mortensen specifically identified in one of his tweets “union sources.” In other words, someone from the union was talking. Per a source with knowledge of Jackson’s mindset regarding the negotiations, he will be “pissed” that something was said by someone with the NFL Players Association.

It’s really weird that someone in the NFLPA choose to leak anything about Jackson’s contract talks considering how sensitive that stuff is.

As of now it doesn’t appear that the Ravens and Jackson will be figuring out contract talks anyways.
