The Raiders turned down a massive trade this offseason.
Earlier this week, the team officially signed Jimmy Garoppolo to become their next starting quarterback.

The Las Vegas Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent QB Jimmy Garoppolo, the club announced Thursday.
Garoppolo, now entering his 10th year in the NFL, was originally a second-round selection (62nd overall) in the 2014 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, where he spent four seasons (2014-17) and was a member of two Super Bowl champion teams (XLIX and LI).
Before signing Jimmy G, the Raiders apparently tried to trade for the #1 overall pick in the draft.
The Raiders eventually backed out after learning how much the Bears were asking for the pick.

They asked for:

* 2023 2nd-round pick

The Bears eventually traded the pick to the Carolina Panthers for a package that including DJ Moore.
