Detroit Tigers infielder Kody Clemens, the son of Roger Clemens, recorded his first career strikeout on Monday against Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani and got a really cool souvenir out of the whole thing.
With Detroit losing the game 10-0, Clemens came into the game TO pitch in the bottom of the eighth inning and used a 68-mile-per-hour eephus pitch to strike Ohtani out.

Kody made sure to keep the ball to try to get it signed by Ohtani.
“I’m just trying to get outs, and for it to come like that is obviously super cool. He’s the best player in baseball. So it’s a pretty cool moment for me.”
