LSU defensive tackle Ali Gaye got himself ejected from Sunday night’s FSU-LSU for an obvious targeting call.
In the third quarter of the game, Gaye launched himself helmet first towards Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis as Travis was throwing the ball.
Gaye was immediately ejected from the game after the refs took a look at the replay.

Travis was somehow still able to throw the touchdown pass despite getting hit on the play by Gaye.

Fans usually hate targeting but this one was clear and blatant.
Some fans even believe that Gaye should be suspended for the hit.
“Ali Gaye just had the worst targeting I have ever seen…suspend him for 2 games man” commented one fan.
“@CoachBrianKelly you needed to get in the kids face that targeting was uncalled for and you should suspend him for more than next game. #weak” said another fan.
